Fish bone in throat and congratulations to Dr James Thomas

Printer-friendly version

Good evening from Grand Canaria, in the Canary Islands (Spain). My name is Carmen Rosa, and I would like to congratulate you for all your videos. I learned a lot about them. I would like to know about new cases, like this one: Fish bone in throat. I tell you that because I have one in my throat. I would like to know how you take away a fish bone out of the throat.

Thank you and congratulations once more

Carmen Rosa

This depends on what tools and techniques your laryngologist has. At times fishbones can be removed in the office with curved instruments. At times a patient is put to sleep to remove the fishbone. At times, the fishbone has come out, but the sensation remains for some time. I list some laryngologists on this website under Home:Physicians
