In general, pitches related to the thickness and tension on the vocal cords. When someone has an abnormal pitch, relative to their appearance, it is sometimes because of a problem with the thickness or thinness of the vocal cords. A good, close endoscopic examination of the vocal cords should be able to reveal the cause of your high-pitched voice. Then it would be possible to determine what could be done to change that. There are some surgeries that can alter pitch.
