Voice training and femlar

Printer-friendly version

I am currently saving up for femlar and have been trying to train my voice in the meantime. My throat feels strained and hurts after talking in a higher pitch. Am i causing damage by maybe trying too hard when training my voice? Would i be better off just talking in my normal voice and wait for the surgery or is throat pain normal when doing voice training? I dont want to wreck anything in there and would hate to do anything that would compromise the outcome of the femlar procedure down the road. I look forward to your response.

DIscomfort in the throat after talking usually signals muscle pain, just like training to run would likely result is some muscle discomfort until the muscles in the legs have built up strength. The same is true for the throat muscles.
