Laryngeal video recordings: Spasmodic dysphonia

ABductor Spasmodic dysphonia

Video of a female yelling “Hey!” The back of the voice box opens or spasms before the end of the yell cutting it short. You may wish to use the cursor to play it very slowly to see the opening of the arytenoids before the end of the yell. To identify the arytenoids see the anatomy lesson. Remember that this video is an office view and the back of the voicebox is the top of the picture.
