The NIH has a very complete overview of drugs by name as well as by class of treatment. I use it frequently myself and find it to be more complete than some other sources. Check here first.

Healthsquare.com has nice overviews of medications.

Drug Infonet seems to be a more user friendly version of PDR.net listed next. The language is verbatim from the PDR but skips some of the more esoteric medical information. It does not require you to log in like the PDR site and gets to an answer quicker. If it doesn“t have the information that you need (like a picture of the pill), then try PDR.net. The actual information that you read is, I believe, written by the pharmaceutical company as opposed to a third party - which some text books such as the AMA Drug Information handbook are.
