Laryngology Disorders Update 2013

The Division of Laryngology at MEEI is pleased to offer the biannual update in the discipline of Laryngology. The focus this year is the management of airway issues and aspiration. We will discuss the multi-disciplinary evaluation of the hoarse patient, an update on the management of airway and aspiration problems, paradoxical vocal fold paralysis, laryngeal and tracheal stenosis, and swallowing disorders. The course will highlight diagnostic and operative techniques in addition to advanced speech language pathology maneuvers. A special breakout session geared towards speech and language pathologists will provide more detailed and hand-on approach to voice and swallowing maneuvers. The educational format used in this course includes didactic lectures, panel discussions, Q&A sessions and Ask-the-Expert sessions.
