Hello. I'm 17. I was diagnosed with acid reflux yesterday. Actually I've been suffering from it for three years, but doctors couldn't diagnose until recently. Extreme hoarseness while speaking, inability to sing high notes and head voice, falsetto(I used to be good at it)... Now I use proton pump inhibitor. I would like to know if my vocal cords will heal. I want to sing flexibly just like I could three years ago. Should I do something extra to accelerate the healing process of my voal cords?
