Meant "
," not mortgages. Some days are "good" singing days, many not. No reliability. Presbyphonia is likely, but I'm no doctor. Have post-nasal drip and take Mucinex. Any suggestions about any of this?

Certainly age plays a role in presbyphonia. Age mostly contributes to atrophy of the vocal cords when a person has been a lifelong vocal under doer. The thinner the vocal cords, the higher the comfortable speaking pitch will be. The thinner the vocal cords, the more air will leak in the lower range. In the end, only an accurate diagnosis will answer your question. The above are generalizations. It certainly is something that can be accurately answered with a good endoscopic examination of the vocal cords.
